Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moore is a Hollywood actor and writer who's talent has brought her recognition and critical acclaim. Sagittarius. She was born in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She's the most senior of the three children that were the children of Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) as well as Anne Smith, who is a psychologist. She is of English and Scottish roots. Moore had a difficult time because her family was constantly moving due to her dad's work. Moore's family relocated from the United States to Germany and she was a student at Frankfurt American High School, where her first acting opportunities were on stage in plays. In 1983 she received the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Boston University. A thesis on Theater. Moore began her career in theater off-Broadway at New York, after she completed her degree. In an episode of The Edge of Night in 1985, Moore made her first on-screen appearance. In 1986 she was cast in the dual roles as Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes for As the World Spins. This role gave her an opportunity that ultimately led to her success. In 1988, she was a part-time actor in the show and received a Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 she debuted in the cinema world through Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. Short Cuts, both produced by Robert Altman (1993), as well as 3 Women, also productions from Altman (1997) included among her works. The critically acclaimed performance of her in Short Cuts (1993) was rewarded with several nominations. Moore's first leading role was on screen in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg's choice to cast Moore in Jurassic Park: The Lost World which was one of the top grossing films of 1997, marked a major change in her career. Moore's most recent appearance as a lead actress was in the film When You Finish saving the World (2022). Her acting career in Hollywood has been established, and she's also a novelist for children that has been published. She published her first book Freckleface Strawberry in 2007 and was a N.Y.T. It became a top seller, and was later adapted to a television series and musical. The year 2013 saw her release the book, My Mom is A Foreigner. Moore being a successful actor and author, has made her personal life known to the world. Moore married John Robin back in 1984, and the couple divorced in 1996. Bart Freundlich is the father of two of her kids. Moore's entire life revolves around colleagues, friends and family.
